Privacy Policy

Our puzzle games keep gameplay progress and preferences on your device. Where advertising is enabled, Google AdMob processes device and usage information. You can contact Mellow Spoon at mellowspooncs@gmail.com.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Mellow Spoon ("we", "us" or "our") handles information in our mobile puzzle games that link to this policy, on this policy website and when you contact us for support.
Features vary between games. Sections about optional features, such as advertising or recent-run records, apply only where those features are provided.
Our current puzzle games do not require a player account and have no player chat, player profiles or Mellow Spoon cloud-save service. They do not require your name or email address to play. Versions with age-aware advertising may ask your age in a neutral check, with an option not to answer. The exact age you enter is processed on your device and is not saved or sent to Mellow Spoon or Google; only a coarse age group or an unknown-age choice is saved locally and used to configure Google's age-treatment and consent settings.
2. Information stored on your device
Our games store information locally to let you resume and to remember your preferences. Depending on the game and its features, this includes:
- Your current board or round, progress, completed stages, scores and best results.
- Recent completed-run records, such as results and dates, when the record-saving option is enabled.
- Settings such as music, sound effects, vibration, appearance and battery-saving preferences.
- A coarse age group or unknown-age choice in versions that offer an age check. Your exact age is not retained. You can revisit the check in the game's settings.
- Local counters and timestamps used to space advertisements or track rewarded-ad availability, along with advertising consent settings managed by Google's SDKs.
Our current games do not upload their local puzzle-save files to a Mellow Spoon server. Your operating system's backup and restore features may retain or restore app data according to your device and Google account settings.
Our current puzzle games do not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone or precise GPS location.
3. Advertising and Google services
Where advertising is enabled, our games use the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Ad formats vary between games and may include full-screen advertisements at natural breaks or optional rewarded advertisements for in-game benefits. Google and its advertising partners process information to deliver and measure ads, understand ad performance and help prevent fraud.
According to Google's SDK disclosures, this processing includes:
- IP address, which can be used to infer an approximate location.
- App and ad interactions, such as launches, taps and video views.
- Diagnostic and performance information.
- Device and account identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID, where available.
The information processed depends on your device, region, consent choices and the advertising features in use. Non-personalized or limited advertising can still involve data needed to deliver, secure and measure ads.
In versions with age-aware advertising, the intended audience is teenagers aged 13 and over and adults. These versions keep a G-rated ad-content limit. For adults, we use Google's ordinary ad requests, subject to consent and Google's privacy controls; personalized advertising and available advertising identifiers may be used where permitted. We do not force child-directed treatment on adult requests. For users aged 16 to 17, we request Google's teen age treatment and disable personalized ads and the publisher first-party identifier. For younger users and users who do not give an age, we apply child age treatment and non-personalized advertising, which prevents transmission of the Android advertising ID for those requests. These protections do not remove the IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics or all other SDK processing described above.
Google handles this information under its own policies. Read the Google Privacy Policy, Google's advertising information and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure.
4. Advertising choices and consent
Our ad-supported games use Google's User Messaging Platform to check whether a privacy message or consent choice is required before requesting ads. Where available, you can revisit the advertising consent form through the privacy or advertising privacy control in the game's settings or options.
In versions with age-aware advertising, users under 18 and users who do not give an age receive under-age-of-consent settings in Google's consent platform and are not asked to agree to personalized advertising. Adult requests use the normal consent flow for their region. No ads are requested until the age choice and Google's consent check have completed. Changing the age choice discards loaded ads and repeats the consent check before another request. The Privacy Policy and Delete Your Data links remain available in the app's settings even when no advertising consent form is required.
You can also use your Android device's advertising privacy controls to reset or delete the advertising ID, where supported. Turning off personalized ads does not necessarily remove advertisements or all advertising-related data processing.
You can stop future processing through the installed game by no longer using it. Clearing local app data does not delete information already held by Google or its partners.
5. If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, such as your message, device details or screenshots. We use this information to answer your request, investigate problems and handle privacy inquiries.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or other information that is unnecessary for your request. We use an email service provider to receive and respond to messages.
7. Retention and deletion
Local game data remains until it is updated, cleared through your device settings or removed with the app. Uninstalling and later restoring from a device backup may restore previously saved data. Review your device's backup controls if you want to remove backup copies as well.
We retain support correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and any related follow-up, security or legal obligations. You can ask us to delete correspondence we hold by emailing the contact address below; information that must be retained for legal reasons may be kept for that purpose.
Website logs are normally rotated daily, with up to 14 previous log files retained for operation and security. Relevant records may be kept longer where necessary to investigate an incident or meet legal obligations.
Google and its partners determine the retention of advertising information under their policies. We do not set or promise a single deletion period for their records. Requests concerning that information may need to be made directly to the relevant provider.
Data deletion help and requests
Visit our data deletion page for steps to remove local game progress, manage Google advertising information, or request deletion of support emails and attachments held by Mellow Spoon.
For support correspondence, email mellowspooncs@gmail.com with the subject Data deletion request. The deletion page explains what to include and which records may need to be retained.
8. Security and your rights
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we handle. Google states that data collected by the Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. Local game saves rely on your device's app-storage protections. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion, or to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise rights concerning information we control. We may need enough information to verify and understand your request. Our current games have no player-account database or cloud-save service, so we cannot retrieve your local puzzle saves from a Mellow Spoon server.
9. Children and teenagers
Our current puzzle games do not provide player registration or chat and do not ask children to submit names, contact details or profiles in the games. The advertising processing described in this policy still applies where advertising is enabled.
Our current puzzle games are intended for teenagers aged 13 and over and adults, rather than being designed for children under 13. A low content rating indicates the suitability of the game content and does not change that intended audience. In versions with an age check, the entered age is not retained or transmitted as entered. Younger users, teenagers and users of unknown age receive the advertising protections described above; an adult answer is still subject to applicable consent requirements.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to Mellow Spoon through a support message, please contact us. We will review the request and remove information that we should not retain under applicable requirements.
10. This policy page and external links
This page is hosted on an Amazon Web Services (AWS) server. Our web server and hosting provider process basic connection information, such as an IP address, request time, requested page and browser information, to deliver and protect the page. This page has no account form or analytics scripts added by Mellow Spoon. Links to third-party sites are governed by those sites' policies.
11. Policy changes
We may update this policy when our games or practices change. If a new game or feature introduces information processing beyond what is described here, we will update this policy or provide additional notice before introducing that processing. The date at the top will reflect the latest update. Where required, we will request consent.
